Job summary

Mobilunity is seeking a Senior Data Platform Engineer to design, build, and scale cloud-based data platforms that support real-time and batch analytics for our USA client base.

You will own data ingestion pipelines, transformations, and data models, leveraging Python, SQL, and AWS services (DMS, Kinesis, S3, Glue). Emphasis on reliability, performance, and data accuracy with AI-assisted tooling.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience designing and developing data engineering solutions.
• Experience with large-scale batch and streaming ETL/ELT pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, testing, and maintenance of scalable Python data ingestion and processing solutions across batch and streaming environments.
• Design data models and transformations to support advanced analytics and BI needs while ensuring data quality and performance.
• Build, optimize, and monitor high-throughput ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS services like DMS, Kinesis, and related tools.
• Investigate pipeline failures and performance issues, implementing preventative measures to improve reliability and data integrity.
• Mentor junior engineers and document code, data models, and processes to promote knowledge sharing.
