Job summary

Natera, Inc. is seeking a Senior Data Analyst in a hybrid San Carlos, CA role to design and prototype a modern AI analytics platform. You will harness AI tooling to accelerate development while maintaining rigorous engineering standards for data, security, and reliability.

Responsibilities include data pipeline work, KPI workflow automation, and cross-functional collaboration with R&D teams to drive impactful insights and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in data analysis, analytics engineering, or software/data platform development.
• High comfort level using modern AI developer assistants (e.g., Claude Code, Gemini, GitHub Copilot) to augment coding productivity.
• Advanced proficiency in Python for data analysis and platform prototyping.
• Strong expertise in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries.
• Commitment to clean, modular, reproducible code using Git.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build a new R&D analytics platform with rapid prototyping of scalable solutions.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate development while ensuring code quality, security, and correctness.
• Extract, clean, transform, and model multi-source R&D data; optimize SQL queries with Data Engineers.
• Translate requirements into automated KPI workflows and modern analytics interfaces.
• Collaborate with cross-functional R&D teams to deliver robust data tools.
• Establish data quality and governance with validation and monitoring.
