Job summary

Natera is seeking a Senior Data Analyst in a hybrid San Carlos, CA role to design and prototype a modern AI analytics platform that accelerates R&D workflows. You will leverage AI tools while maintaining production-grade code, data accuracy, and system reliability.

Responsibilities include building scalable data tools, crafting optimized SQL queries, and delivering automated KPI workflows. Collaboration with cross-functional R&D teams is key to driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in data analysis, analytics engineering, or software/data platform development.
• Proficient with modern AI developer tools (e.g., Claude Code, Gemini, GitHub Copilot) to augment coding productivity.
• Strong analytical intuition and data validation skills; able to verify and fine-tune data workflows and queries.

Responsibilities

• Platform Design & Rapid Prototyping: Architect and build a new R&D analytics platform with scalable, self-service data tools.
• AI-Accelerated Development & Rigorous Validation: Use AI tools to accelerate development; review, debug, and validate all outputs for correctness and security.
• Data Pipeline & SQL Engineering: Extract, clean, transform, and model multi-source R&D data; craft high-performance SQL queries.
• Analytics & Insight Generation: Translate requirements into automated KPI workflows and modern analytics interfaces.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional R&D teams to define analytics needs and deliver robust tools.
• Data Quality & Governance: Establish validation frameworks and automated monitoring for data integrity across outputs.
