Job summary

Signant Health is seeking a Senior Cloud Data Engineer to drive data movement, design scalable architectures, and implement AI-assisted workflows across R&D. You will partner with business and tech stakeholders to translate requirements into robust data platforms, steering complex pipelines from conception through delivery.

You will lead data initiatives across streaming and batch systems, champion CI/CD practices, and ensure data quality and performance.

Qualifications

• Experience moving data at scale in cloud environments and building data pipelines.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted and autonomous coding workflows.
• Proven ability to lead development from scoping to delivery in data movement.

Responsibilities

• Build central data strategy for data science, analytics, BI, and agentic workflows.
• Lead sprint development and coordinate work streams across teams with hands-on coding.
• Design architectures for streaming and batch processing with scalability in mind.
• Conduct POCs on new technologies to stay ahead of trends.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into product features.
• Implement data management initiatives and restructure architectures for performance.
• Identify and resolve data quality issues before they impact operations.
• Prepare and optimize large-scale datasets for ingestion and use across platforms.
• Review designs, code, test plans, and datasets to uphold standards.
• Analyze data to inform high-performance solution design.
