Job summary

ITMC Systems, Inc. seeks a hands-on Senior DevOps Engineer to build and operate secure cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines for enterprise apps, including AI-enabled services. You will own automation, production reliability, and client communications while mentoring engineers in Pittsburgh.

Required 7+ years in DevOps with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and robust scripting. Onsite five days/week in Pittsburgh, with strong security and cost-control focus.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in hands-on DevOps, cloud, and automation.
• Strong experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Docker and Kubernetes proficiency.
• IaC with Terraform or equivalent tool.
• CI/CD with Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Linux administration, Git, and scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Networking incl. DNS, TLS, load balancing; IAM and security posture.
• Experience with monitoring/logging comps (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry).
• Production troubleshooting, incident management, release controls.
• AI-enabled service support, cost controls, observability.

Responsibilities

• Design, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines for delivery.
• Provision and manage cloud infrastructure via IaC.
• Operate Docker containers and Kubernetes workloads.
• Automate deployments, rollbacks, monitoring, and logging.
• Establish security checks, secrets management, and access controls.
• Support AI services, model endpoints, and data infrastructure.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate across teams.
• Maintain disaster-recovery procedures and runbooks.
