Job summary

CareMetx is seeking a Senior Engineer I, DevOps to build and maintain scalable infrastructure, partner with software teams, and strengthen security and compliance across our environment. You will own automation via IaC (Terraform, Ansible), CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, CircleCI), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud (AWS), while helping optimize costs and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 6+ years maintaining infrastructure and collaborating with software teams.
• Strong scripting and automation abilities.
• Proficient with cloud platforms (AWS) and IAM.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain IaC to automate infrastructure provisioning.
• Lead AI-assisted automation and CI/CD pipeline development.
• Develop scripts to streamline deployment tasks.
• Manage source code with Git and promote collaboration.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or CircleCI.
• Operate Docker containers and Kubernetes clusters.
• Set up monitoring and logging, build dashboards and alerts.
• Utilize AWS for scalable, cost-aware infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and document configurations.
• Resolve infra, pipeline, and performance issues; provide cross-team support.
• Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases.
