Job summary

VIVA USA Inc. is seeking a Senior Cloud Administrator to design, deploy, and manage AWS GovCloud infrastructure for a critical federal program. You will architect secure, scalable cloud environments and support AI capabilities and containerized workloads.

You’ll implement IaC with Terraform, operate EKS/Kubernetes, enforce NIST 800-53 and FISMA, and collaborate in an agile Jira-driven team to advance cloud strategy.

Qualifications

• Design, deploy, and manage AWS GovCloud infrastructure compliant with federal standards.
• Work with Kubernetes and EKS to run containerized workloads.
• Implement and maintain IaC using Terraform and GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure compliance with NIST 800-53 and FISMA.
• Support AI/ML capabilities and cloud-native solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure on AWS GovCloud platform, ensuring compliance with federal security standards
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Amazon EKS and Kubernetes
• Support emerging AI/ML capabilities and cloud-native solutions
• Build and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform and GitLab CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment using Jira for project management
• Ensure systems meet NIST 800-53 and FISMA compliance requirements
• Automate operational tasks and improve platform reliability
• Contribute to architectural decisions and cloud strategy
