Job summary

Aikido Security seeks a Senior Cloud Engineer to own and operate the AWS GovCloud infrastructure that supports our U.S. public sector cloud environment.

You will translate platform changes into a regulated context and serve as a key operator on the front lines of our infrastructure. Responsibilities include operating Kubernetes-based platform infrastructure, deploying updates, monitoring, and troubleshooting in a FedRAMP-ready setting, with close alignment to cloud architecture and government

Qualifications

• Experience operating and maintaining cloud infrastructure in regulated environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production environments.
• Experience with AWS GovCloud and government-regulated deployments.
• Ability to own production systems, troubleshoot issues, and make pragmatic technical decisions quickly.

Responsibilities

• Own and operate AWS GovCloud infrastructure for FedRAMP environment.
• Maintain and improve Kubernetes-based platform infrastructure for reliability, performance, and security.
• Handle day-to-day cloud operations: deployments, updates, configuration changes, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Support last-mile implementation work required for a regulated version of the platform.
• Partner with leadership to align environments with government-specific constraints.
• Respond to infrastructure and customer support needs in the U.S. regulated environment.
• Help ensure operational readiness, resilience, and compliance as the federal footprint scales.
