Job summary

CACI International Inc. is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to lead architecture and optimization of AWS GovCloud environments for critical DoD-aligned workloads. This role demands hands-on senior systems engineering, scalable design, and proficient communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities include driving automation via IaaS/IaC, enforcing NIST SP 800-171 controls, implementing DISA STIGs, and developing multi-region disaster recovery strategies to ensure resilience and mission success.

Qualifications

BA/BS degree or equivalent professional experience.
Minimum 10 years of systems/software engineering experience.
Active Secret clearance required; AWS certifications required.

Responsibilities

Architect, manage, and optimize AWS GovCloud environments aligned with business and mission objectives.
Design and implement operations planning to improve system performance, reliability, and scalability.
Support administrators in deploying and managing Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) and Infrastructure-as-a-Code (IaC) solutions.
Ensure the security and compliance of DoD systems, including implementation of NIST SP 800-171 security controls, DISA STIGs, and DFARS 252.204-7012 requirements.
Architect and implement multi-region disaster recovery strategies to ensure system resilience and continuity.
