Job summary

Medidata is seeking an experienced Project Manager in the NYC area for hybrid work arrangements. You will manage client accounts, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

The role requires leadership, strong communication skills, and the ability to mentor teammates. Travel up to 20% domestically and internationally is expected; company benefits include comprehensive plans and 401(k) matching.

Qualifications

• 4-year college degree or equivalent (analytic discipline a plus) preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in clinical/biomedical and/or software development environment preferred.
• Ability to anticipate and mitigate issues and risks thus minimizing escalations.
• Ability to mentor other team members.
• Ability to identify and suggest improvements which increase value to Medidata and the client.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal and external resources to achieve project objectives.
• Lead large, complex projects or programs across Clinical Trial Management areas.
• Ensure deliverables are tracked and documentation is current.
• Manage client expectations and communications to ensure satisfaction.
• Oversee project scope, timelines, budgets and milestones.
• Forecast budgets and ensure invoice accuracy.
• Create and maintain accurate project documentation and minutes.
• Raise and track work requests to other departments.
• Document action items and follow up in meetings.
• Identify and mitigate risks and issues with proactive communication.
