Job summary

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle is seeking a Clinical Trials Fiscal Program Manager to lead budgeting for IITs and industry-sponsored trials, ensuring cost accuracy and sponsor alignment. You will collaborate with PIs, CTMS, and finance teams to optimize workflows and payments.

The role requires strong financial analysis, experience with CTMS and Epic, and a pro-active approach to budgeting, reporting and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting or related field or equivalent qualification or experience.
• Minimum seven years of experience in fiscal management of Phase I-III clinical trials
• Strong organizational and detail-oriented work style with good time management
• Advanced skills in financial analysis and reporting tools

Responsibilities

• Build and negotiate clinical trial budgets with the study PI.
• Provide subject-matter support for protocol interpretation and sponsor negotiations.
• Lead quality-control review of CTMS calendars and study calendars.
• Verify that billing-grid determinations align with protocol, consent and contracts.
• Conduct comprehensive quality reviews of budgets before submission, negotiation and amendment execution.
• Design and maintain training programs for calendar review, CTMS builds, billing grids and budgets.
• Develop training resources and SOPs for financial processes.
