Job summary

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle, WA, seeks a Clinical Trials Financial Analyst II to provide postaward fiscal management for CRS programs. On-site position with collaboration across clinical teams, billing offices, and study sponsors.

Strong Excel skills and clinical trial budgeting experience preferred. The role reports to the CRS Assistant Director, Post Award Financial Management, and requires a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance with at least two years in finance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or equivalent experience.
• Minimum two years of experience in finance, preferably in clinical trials.
• Experience developing complex, multi‑phase clinical trial budgets and negotiating study budgets.
• Strong Excel calculations and financial analytics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Partner with startup and study teams to align budget/billing with CRS standards.
• Generate sponsor invoices timely and ensure accurate tracking and reporting for each study.
• Review Epic charts and invoices; utilize OnCore and Epic tools for budget alignment.
• Collaborate with Clinical Research Coordinators to correct workflow issues.
• Produce reports on study receipts, invoices, and postaward information for stakeholders.
