Job summary

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle is seeking a Clinical Trial Fiscal Program Manager to lead the preparation, negotiation, and maintenance of budgets for a portfolio of clinical trials, ensuring financial sustainability and compliance across the study lifecycle.

You will build and negotiate IIT budgets with study teams, conduct quality reviews of calendars and billing grids, align terms with the clinical trial agreement, and collaborate with CTMS, research operations, and finance

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting or related field.
Minimum seven years of fiscal management of Phase I-III clinical trials.
Strong analytical and communication skills; highly organized.

Responsibilities

Build and negotiate clinical trial budgets, including IIT budgets.
Provide subject-matter support for complex protocol interpretation and sponsor negotiations.
Lead quality-control review of clinical trial calendars and billing grids.
Verify that billing-grid determinations are supported by protocol and agreements.
Conduct comprehensive quality reviews of industry-sponsored budgets before submission and negotiation.
Design, implement, and maintain a training program for staff responsible for calendar review, CTMS builds, and billing grid reviews.
