Job summary

The Clinical Research Coordinator II at Wellstar Health System will independently manage critical aspects of large clinical trials, registries, and research projects within the WellStar Research Institute. You will determine recruitment strategies, qualify patients, coordinate visits, and oversee data management while ensuring regulatory compliance and sponsor communications.

• Knowledge and understanding of clinical/translational research operations and applicable regulations.
• Experience with IRB submissions and sponsor communications.
• Ability to manage multiple studies and train others in research procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage study protocols, determine patient eligibility, recruit and schedule visits, and track data.
• Record data from source documents onto case report forms and manage study documentation.
• Monitor site visits, ensure data quality, and support budgets and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee training of staff, quality assurance, and coordination with sponsors and regulatory bodies.
