Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking a Research Coordinator to manage clinical trials within the Clinical Trials Office. You will identify potential patients, assess eligibility, coordinate visits, and ensure proper documentation and regulatory adherence. Strong nursing background and research experience preferred.

The role requires nursing licensure, BLS, and the ability to work within FDA and institutional guidelines while maintaining meticulous trial records.

Qualifications

• RN license valid in the state; BLS certification required or within 30 days.
• Minimum 5 years of nursing experience, hospital and research preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all facets of patient involvement in clinical trials.
• Conduct trials in accordance with Good Clinical Practice, FDA and institutional guidelines.
• Review charts for eligibility and enroll patients per protocol.
• Communicate protocol requirements with physicians and staff.
• Enter visits and maintain trial documentation and source data.
