Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of relevant experience drafting and negotiating clinical research or related agreements in a hospital or academic setting.
• Ability to review, negotiate, and manage agreements to ensure compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements including HIPAA and Uniform Guidance.
• Effective communication with physicians, staff, and external sponsors.
• Strong negotiation and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and with others; proficient with MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Draft, negotiate, and finalize complex industry-funded and related research agreements, including confidentiality, material transfer, and data sharing agreements.
• Develop and implement policies and guidance documents for industry-sponsored research engagement; ensure compliance with laws and hospital policies.
• Educate and advise hospital staff and administrators throughout the negotiation process; prepare educational materials and updates for the hospital website as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and tracking of agreements; coordinate steps from contract execution through internal setup procedures.
• Other duties as assigned by leadership or director.
