Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking an experienced Clinical Project Manager II – Inflammation to lead a sponsor-dedicated, remote US inflammation program from start-up to closeout. The role emphasizes end-to-end execution, strong cross-functional leadership, and proactive vendor oversight within a fast-paced environment.

You will guide complex Phase 2b studies, manage cross-functional teams, and drive operational solutions while maintaining rigorous regulatory and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of clinical project management experience within clinical research.
• Experience running clinical trials from start-up through closeout.
• Experience supporting complex Phase 2b studies within the inflammation therapeutic area.
• Strong CRO/vendor management and oversight experience.
• Proven ability to independently drive study execution in fast-paced clinical environments.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end clinical trial execution from start-up through closeout.
• Independently manage day-to-day study operations with minimal oversight.
• Own timelines, deliverables, risks, and issue resolution across multiple workstreams.
• Maintain operational awareness across all trial aspects, able to work in the weeds when needed.
• Ensure study milestones stay on track in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
• Partner cross-functionally to identify risks and implement solutions quickly.
