Job summary

Syneos Health, Inc. is seeking an Experienced Clinical Project Manager - Inflammation (Sponsor Dedicated/ Remote- US only) to oversee complex trials from start-up through closeout.

You will lead cross-functional teams, manage vendors, and drive study execution in a fast-paced sponsor-dedicated environment. The role requires 3+ years in clinical project management, especially for Phase 2b inflammation programs, with strong operational and leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of clinical project management experience in clinical research.
• Experience running trials from start-up through closeout across the full lifecycle.
• Experience supporting complex Phase 2b inflammation studies.
• Strong CRO/vendor management and oversight experience.
• Proven ability to independently drive study execution in fast-paced environments.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional trial activities within matrixed organizations.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and mentor junior members.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end clinical trial execution from start-up to closeout.
• Manage day-to-day study operations with minimal oversight.
• Own timelines, deliverables, risks, and issue resolution across multiple workstreams.
• Maintain deep operational awareness across all trial aspects.
• Ensure milestones stay on track in a fast-paced environment.
• Partner cross-functionally to identify risks and implement solutions quickly.
• Lead vendor management activities and oversee external partners and CROs.
• Drive cross-functional meetings with clear agendas and strong follow-up.
• Draft, review and coordinate key study documents and budgets.
