Job summary

Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Manager to drive large, clinically focused initiatives in partnership with Health and Medical Management Leadership. You will own complex projects that affect multiple businesses and resources and mentor other project managers.

The role requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, and expertise in healthcare programs. You will translate business needs into high-level requirements, manage the full project lifecycle,

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required.
• Post Graduate Degree highly desired.
• 7+ years professional business experience required in project management within healthcare.
• PMP Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale clinical project implementations to improve organizational and operational effectiveness.
• Partner with VPs and Senior Directors, providing guidance on impacts across projects and deliverables.
• Mentor other project managers and contribute to project management discipline and process improvements.
• Ensure Integrated Project Plans are developed, updated and gaps identified.
• Communicate effectively to stakeholders and manage expectations on time, cost and scope.
• Translate business needs into high level technical requirements for Enterprise Technology and Clinical Ops.
• Provide executive thinking to ensure vendor and technical requirements meet business needs.
• Manage project lifecycle from initiation to closeout, including risk/issue management and performance measurement.
