Valley Hope Grapevine seeks a Clinical Program Director to oversee residential and outpatient clinical programming. This leader will drive training, supervise staff, ensure licensure compliance, and guide quality of care across services.

The role emphasizes evidence-based practices and strong clinical oversight within a mission-driven addiction treatment setting. The position reports to management, with responsibilities spanning budgeting, program development, and crisis support, while

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in behavioral sciences or social work.
• Licensure to provide diagnosis and treatment for Substance Use Disorder and/or Mental Health in state of employment.
• Two+ years of supervisory/management experience.
• Five+ years of behavioral healthcare clinical counseling or clinical case management.
• CPR Certification.
• Valid unrestricted driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and manages clinical programming for residential and/or outpatient facilities.
• Leads training needs assessment and develops the training program for the clinical department.
• Conducts observed sessions and provides feedback/coaching for professional growth.
• Tracks licensure trainings (CPR, CEU, Relias, etc.).
• Completes clinical chart reviews and coaches for documentation improvement.
• Produces Quarterly Clinical Chart Review Report and identifies trends.
• Monitors patient survey data and leads department performance improvement projects.
• Leads Quarterly Clinical Department Meetings and maintains minutes.
• Supports delivery of clinical care including individual and group therapy.
• Supervises staff, including hiring, training and performance reviews.
• Directly supervises Assistant Clinical Program Directors and provides feedback.
• In absence of ACPD, oversees counseling staff and clinical care facets.
• Supports scheduling On Call, PTO and psychoeducation coverage.
• Oversees psychoeducation curriculum and staff meetings.
