Confidential Leadership Opportunity in Richmond, VA is seeking a Clinical Director to oversee all clinical programming in a substance use disorder treatment program. The role provides leadership to therapists, counselors, and clinical staff, ensuring evidence-based care and strong documentation standards.

The ideal candidate holds a master’s or doctoral degree, a Virginia independent license, and at least five years of leadership in addiction treatment or behavioral health, with experience

Qualifications

• Require Master’s or Doctoral degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or related field.
• Active Virginia independent clinical license (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, Psychologist) required.
• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in addiction treatment or behavioral health.
• Previous Clinical Director or senior clinical leadership experience required.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and accreditation standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to therapists, counselors, and clinical staff.
• Oversee clinical programming, treatment planning, and evidence-based services.
• Ensure compliant clinical documentation and reporting.
• Monitor quality and client outcomes through QA initiatives.
• Lead multidisciplinary team meetings and case reviews.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop high-performing teams.
• Maintain compliance with licensing, Joint Commission, and policies.
• Partner with executive leadership to support operational excellence.
• Develop and implement clinical policies and best practices.
• Foster accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
