Valley Hope of Wichita invites you to join our mission-driven team as Assistant Clinical Program Director. You will supervise clinical staff, provide direct care as needed, and help shape treatment programs for outpatient services, including IOP and PHP.

The role requires a Master’s in behavioral sciences or social work, Kansas licensure (LCPC/LSCSW/LCAC/LCMFT), and at least two years of behavioral health experience. Starting salary ranges from $85,000 to $95,000 with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in behavioral sciences or social work.
• Licensure to provide diagnosis and treatment for substance use disorder and/or mental health in state of employment; licensed as LCPC, LSCSW, LCAC, or LCMFT in Kansas.
• Two (2) years of behavioral healthcare clinical counseling or clinical case management work experience.
• CPR/First Aid Certification.
• Valid unrestricted driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical care as needed including individual therapy, group therapy, and psychoeducation.
• Provide day-to-day supervision of the facility clinical staff to ensure activities follow Valley Hope policies, procedures, and standards.
• Supervise identified team members including hiring, training, and performance reviews; provide feedback and mentoring.
• Assist Clinical Program Director with chart reviews and observed sessions as needed.
• Coordinate on-call coverage, PTO, psychoeducation, and other programming.
• Help develop training needs and programs for the clinical department, including evidence-based practices and co-occurring care.
• Coordinate clinical in-services and staff meetings, and support after-hours counseling.
• Act as clinical point person in the absence of the Clinical Program Director.
• Ensure knowledge of residential and outpatient policies, and participate in cross-training.
