Job summary

TridentCare in Carrollton, TX is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) to join our accredited laboratory team. You will perform a wide range of complex tests, ensure accuracy, and maintain compliance with CAP, CLIA, and state regulations under the supervision of the laboratory manager.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in medical technology or related field and at least 2 years of clinical lab experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in medical technology or related field.
• 2+ years of clinical laboratory experience.
• Must meet CLIA requirements for High Complexity Testing.
• Ability to work independently and under stress.
• Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork.
• Adaptability to a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with core diagnostic CLIA laboratory environment.
• Knowledge of laboratory principles and instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of complex laboratory tests and analyses.
• Ensure tests are performed accurately and in a timely manner.
• Follow CAP/CLIA and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain quality control and instrument calibration.
• Communicate with nurses and physicians; work well with others.
• Assist Lead CLS in maintaining supplies and inventory.
• Review and verify test results and technical reports.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
