Job summary

TridentCare in Carrollton, TX is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist/Technologist for a full-time weekend day shift (Fri-Sun, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM). On-site position with responsibilities for specimen handling, testing, and accurate reporting of results in a fast-paced laboratory.

The ideal candidate will have an MLS/MLT/CLS certification, an associate or bachelor’s degree in MLS or related field, and CLIA high-complexity testing eligibility, with strong attention to quality control and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in MLS/related field required.
• Certification as MLS/MLT/CLS/MT or equivalent.
• Must meet CLIA requirements for High Complexity Testing.

Responsibilities

• Follows procedures for specimen handling and processing; maintains patient results records.
• Maintains proficiency testing records and quality control activities.
• Calibrates instruments and manages instrument maintenance.
