Job summary

Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center is seeking a Senior Clinical Laboratory Technologist to advance quality and regulatory excellence in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine. You will partner with leaders to support quality initiatives, regulatory compliance, and accreditation requirements, ensuring accurate patient results and operational efficiency.

The role emphasizes process improvement, staff education, and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Active New York Clinical Laboratory Technologist license or eligible to obtain full licensure within 6 months.
• Education options include Doctorate/Master’s/Bachelor’s with equivalent full-time CLT experience.
• Experience in pathology lab disciplines and SOP/document control is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support quality assurance and regulatory activities across Pathology and Laboratory Medicine.
• Maintain and strengthen the Laboratory Quality Management System.
• Review procedures to ensure regulatory and accreditation compliance.
• Conduct audits, identify improvement opportunities, and implement corrective actions.
• Provide technical guidance and training to laboratory staff on quality processes.
