Job summary

The starting base salary is $62,694 with a geographic differential of $4.60/hr and an assignment differential of $4.00/hr; full benefits are included.

Qualifications

• License required: full licensure as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist in the State of New York; or eligibility for full licensure.
• Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Technology or related health care discipline.
• Incumbents must obtain and maintain full CLT licensure in NY within six months of appointment.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing using automated and manual methods across assigned areas.
• Analyze and interpret laboratory data to support patient diagnosis and treatment.
• Conduct quality control testing to ensure accurate results.
• Collect, process, and handle specimens according to procedures and quality standards.
• Review work of laboratory staff and provide technical oversight.
• Utilize laboratory information systems to document and report results.
• Assist with training and mentoring laboratory employees and students.
• Support development and improvement of laboratory procedures and workflows.
