Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical, biological, or clinical laboratory/medical technology science.
• 4+ years of high-complexity testing in a clinical laboratory.
• 2+ years in a role with progressively increasing responsibilities, such as lead technologist.

Responsibilities

• Identify and understand regulatory requirements to ensure laboratory compliance (CLIA, CAP, OSHA).
• Supervise laboratory staff and provide on-site consultation and training.
• Evaluate equipment and supply needs; manage budget and expenses.
• Verify test procedures and establish performance characteristics (precision/accuracy).
• Maintain the Quality Management and Quality Control programs across the testing process.
• Ensure patient results are reviewed and released only after corrective actions.
