Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking an Informatics Lead, Clinical Intelligence to analyze high-value AI opportunities across CenterWell segments. You will size opportunities, shape intelligence layers, and collaborate with product, clinical, and IT teams to measure impact and drift of AI-enabled solutions. Remote role reporting to the Director, Informatics.

The role emphasizes data discovery, evaluation schemes, and partnerships across stakeholders to drive patient outcomes and care optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of data analytics experience OR Master's degree with 4+ years.
• At least 4+ years of experience analyzing clinical intelligence solutions that impact patient care decisions.
• 4+ years of experience evaluating the outcomes, performance, and validation of AI & ML solutions.
• Advanced experience with SQL and Python to analyze complex datasets.
• Ability to apply clinical and public health research methodologies to assess opportunities, quantify value, and guide enterprise-scale investments.
• Significant experience with data analysis and engineering for analytics, model evaluation techniques, and using data to drive business outcomes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, able to present findings to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Conduct data discovery, feasibility analysis, and opportunity sizing for Clinical Intelligence initiatives.
• Design and implement evaluation schemes for production Clinical Intelligence products, measuring impact and accuracy.
• Serve as SME for population health benchmarks across internal and external partners.
• Establish success metrics and measure impact of intelligence capabilities on care coordination and patient outcomes.
• Partner with product, clinical, business, data, and technology stakeholders to identify high-value opportunities.
• Lead exploratory analyses to identify unmet clinical and operational needs and inform roadmaps.
• Create measurement plans and value hypotheses for new Clinical Intelligence capabilities.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, AI/ML, compliance, and operations teams to translate opportunities into scalable solutions.
