The University of Miami Health System (UHealth) IT Department in Miami, Florida is seeking a full-time Clinical Informaticist 4 (Lead) to drive strategic management and optimization of clinical applications. You will lead documentation, training, workflow validation, and complex system upgrades while ensuring data accuracy and regulatory compliance.

As a leader, you will develop change management strategies, collaborate with senior stakeholders, and guide large-scale projects across the health

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field; Master’s in Nursing preferred or Informatics certificate favored.
• Epic Certification in at least one core clinical application is required.
• Lean Certification and strong communication and project management skills are expected.

Responsibilities

• Oversees strategic management and optimization of clinical applications.
• Directs documentation and training programs for end users.
• Leads complex workflow validation projects and ensures user acceptance.
• Manages software upgrades, testing, and validation of releases.
• Ensures data accuracy, confidentiality, and regulatory compliance.
• Develops change management strategies with senior stakeholders.
• Leads design and implementation of major system enhancements and new applications.
