Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is hiring a Senior Medical Director for Clinical Informatics to lead Epic-enabled technology across Center Operations and Quality/Stars. The role blends hands-on clinical expertise with strategic product leadership to improve workflows, outcomes, and patient safety across the enterprise.

The individual will partner with executive leaders, manage upgrades and deployments, and mentor the clinical informatics team, while aligning the Epic roadmap to organizational priorities

Qualifications

• Licensed clinician with MD/DO or NP/PA in good standing
• Epic Builder training/certification or willingness to obtain within timeframe
• Strong executive presence and ability to present to senior stakeholders
• Experience leading clinical informatics, safety, quality improvement, or care operations

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical product and technology leadership for Epic-enabled domains
• Guide enterprise governance and drive improvements in clinician workflows, patient safety and outcomes
• Oversee Epic upgrades, testing, implementation, and change management
• Mentor clinical informatics teams and sponsor major go-lives and releases
• Collaborate with clinical and business leaders to translate priorities into actionable roadmaps
