Job summary

CVS Health Corporation seeks a Senior Medical Director for Clinical Informatics and Healthcare Delivery Technology. You will lead Epic-enabled clinical workflows, guiding governance, reporting, and decision support to improve patient outcomes and care quality.

This role blends 0.2 FTE clinical practice with 0.8 FTE leadership, with domestic travel 1–2 times per quarter and a comprehensive benefits package including equity awards and annual bonus potential.

Qualifications

Licensed clinician with MD/DO or NP/PA licensure.
Clinical leadership with experience in value-based care and patient outcomes.
5+ years of ambulatory clinical practice experience.
Completion of Epic Builder training and certification (or willingness to obtain).
Strong executive presence with experience presenting to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Lead clinical product and technology strategy for Epic-enabled domains across HCD technology.
Drive enterprise governance and optimize Epic workflows to improve safety and quality.
Translate clinical and business needs into prioritized technology roadmaps and reporting.
Oversee Epic upgrades, testing, implementation, and go-lives as accountable sponsor.
Mentor clinical informatics teams and drive continuous improvement.
