Job summary

CVS Health Corporation seeks a Senior Medical Director for Clinical Informatics to lead Epic-enabled healthcare delivery technology and drive end-to-end technology execution within the HCD core domains.

The role requires hands-on clinical expertise, partnerships with operations and IT leadership, and accountable sponsorship for enterprise go-lives and major releases, with a focus on safety, quality and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Licensed clinician (MD/DO, NP, PA) in good standing.
• Epic Builder training and certification or willingness to obtain.
• 5+ years of ambulatory clinical practice experience.
• Strong executive presence and ability to present to senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical product and tech leadership across Epic domains.
• Partner with clinical and operational leaders to translate priorities into Epic workflows and decision support.
• Support Epic upgrades, testing, implementation, and go-lives; sponsor enterprise releases.
• Monitor adoption and drive continuous improvement across the enterprise.
• Mentor and develop clinical informatics staff and clinician-technologists.
