Job summary

Presbyterian Healthcare Services in New Mexico seeks an Educator to design, deliver and evaluate educational programs across staff levels, collaborating with clinical teams to address learning needs and elevate patient care.

The Educator will lead performance evaluation, support research integration, and provide guidance on informatics and practice changes, with tuition reimbursement and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required; Master’s Degree in Nursing, Nursing Education, Education, Instructional Design, Business, Leadership, Informatics, Administration or equivalent degree required.
• State of New Mexico nursing license or compact state license required.
• Specialty certification in nursing, informatics, education or equivalent preferred.
• Maintains current training in BLS; ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, and other emergency response certifications as required.

Responsibilities

• Provides educational activities based on learning needs assessments and using instructional design, delivery, technology and evaluation to achieve high-impact learning.
• Drives learning/performance needs assessment independently and partners on approaches to close gaps.
• Identifies target audience needs and collaborates with management to define improvement objectives.
• Develops budget-conscious instructional design to meet objectives and applies evidence-based data.
• Leads implementation of educational content/program with management and team members; measures program effectiveness.
