Job summary

Presbyterian Healthcare Services seeks a Clinical Educator to design and deliver educational activities across the enterprise. You will identify learning needs, develop innovative instructional design, and evaluate outcomes to boost staff performance and patient care.

The role requires NM nursing licensure, a nursing or related masters, and 3+ years of clinical care experience, with opportunities for growth, tuition support, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Licensure: State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing required; Master's degree in nursing, nursing education, education, instructional design, business, leadership, informatics, administration or equivalent degree preferred.
• Specialty certifications in nursing, informatics, education or equivalent preferred.
• Basic life support (BLS) required; ACLS/PALS/NRP/TNCC or equivalent may be required depending on assignment.
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical care experience in a relevant specialty.

Responsibilities

• Develops and delivers educational activities based on needs assessments and performance gaps.
• Drives learning needs assessment and partners with management to address gaps.
• Designs budget-conscious instructional content and evaluates program effectiveness.
• Provides in-the-moment coaching and supports staff in informatics systems.
• Leads evaluation design and reporting to measure learning transfer and outcomes.
