Job summary

The Valley Health System in Southern Nevada seeks an experienced CDI Manager to lead the Clinical Documentation Integrity Program for GME and medical staff education. You will oversee concurrent and retrospective reviews to ensure accurate reflection of illness severity and appropriate reimbursement.

Applicants should have an RN license (BSN preferred) and 2+ years in acute care, plus 1+ year CDI experience. Strong knowledge of PPS/DRG and excellent communication are required.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the applicable state.
• Knowledge of Prospective Payment System and DRG optimization.
• Experience with CDI programs and medical record review.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the CDI program for GME and medical staff education.
• Perform concurrent and retrospective reviews to ensure accurate severity and reimbursement.
• Collaborate with physicians, payers, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance.
• Support reporting of quality outcomes and documentation improvements.
