Job summary

UCI Health in Irvine, California is seeking a functional and technical leader to develop, upgrade, and support our Clinical Information systems.

You will independently maintain large modules of an enterprise system, facilitate decisions that affect patient care, and collaborate with IT and clinical teams.

The role requires EpicCare Inpatient experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to lead projects and participate in on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience implementing/supporting EpicCare Inpatient or other Epic applications.
• Current EpicCare Inpatient Orders, Order Transmittal or Bugsy certification.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to function as a project leader and project member

Responsibilities

• Lead development, upgrade, enhancement, and support of Clinical Information systems.
• Independently maintain large modules of an enterprise clinical information system.
• Facilitate decisions and work efforts that affect applications and patient care practices.
• Participate in the analysis and design of data communication links between systems
