Job summary

Holmes Murphy & Associates is seeking a Sr. Client Service Consultant for our Property Casualty team in Madison, WI.

The role focuses on understanding client needs, discussing renewal opportunities, and negotiating with carriers to secure the right coverage. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in insurance-related customer service or underwriting and an active Property Casualty license or the ability to obtain one within three months.

Qualifications

• High school diploma; college degree preferred.
• Minimum 2+ years customer service, underwriting, or risk management in insurance.
• Active state Property Casualty Insurance license required or ability to acquire within 3 months.
• Apply insurance principles to consult with clients and meet strategic needs.
• Prioritize tasks and deliver proactive solutions.

Responsibilities

• Understand client operations and exposures to ensure appropriate coverage or options.
• Consult with team for pre-renewal meetings on qualifying accounts and client opportunities.
• Market renewal policies and negotiate with underwriters.
• Review quotes for accuracy and prepare proposal documents.
• Ensure all client information and carrier items (schedules, endorsements, audits) are accurate.
• Prepare renewal documents and save to agency management system (PSR, schedules, applications, loss runs).
