Job summary

Holmes Murphy Insurance is seeking a Client Service Consultant to join the Architects & Engineers team across Peoria IL, Waukee IA, Kansas City MO, or Madison WI. The role focuses on delivering world-class client service, coordinating renewal processes, and advising on coverage solutions.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in insurance customer service, carries a Property Casualty license or can obtain one within three months, and can lead client meetings with confidence and professionalism.

Qualifications

• High school diploma; college degree preferred.
• 5+ years of customer service experience in insurance.
• Active state Property Casualty license required or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire.
• Ability to consult with clients and meet strategic needs using agency systems.

Responsibilities

• Attend insurance carrier meetings and lead client meetings.
• Manage accounts start to finish; may assist Senior Consultant on larger accounts.
• Pre-renewal meetings on qualifying accounts and development of client opportunities.
• Market renewal policies and negotiate with underwriters.
• Review quotes for accuracy and prepare proposals for clients.
• Ensure client information and carrier items are accurate and up to date, including schedules and audits.
• Prepare renewal documents and save to agency management system.
