Job summary

Northern Trust in Chicago seeks a Senior Consultant for Client Service Solutions within Integrated Portfolio Services. This role focuses on elevating client experience and optimizing middle-office operations.

You will manage client relationships, coordinate workflows, and mentor teams, with a strong emphasis on accuracy, timely delivery, and cross-functional collaboration across IPS and CSS.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in trade operations, reconciliations, hedge fund administration, or related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven leadership and collaboration abilities across organization levels.
• Strong client-centric mindset with proactive problem solving.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills with ability to prioritize.

Responsibilities

• Foster strong client relationships and advocate for client needs within IPS.
• Coordinate with Operational Partners on daily/weekly/monthly deliverables and month-end workflows.
• Serve as a proactive point of contact for clients; propose operational efficiencies and cost reductions.
• Lead and motivate staff; promote teamwork and exceptional client servicing.
• Understand client processes and dependencies; drive shared service agendas.
• Participate in client onsite visits to strengthen relationships.
• Manage project workflows and ensure smooth transitions to Backoffice.
