Job summary

Northern Trust Corp is seeking an ADS Client Consultant in Chicago to manage accounting/reporting for key client relationships. You will oversee client communications, guide reporting processes, and participate in client meetings while tracking KPIs and documenting procedures.

You will lead transitions for New/Additional Business, coordinate with senior management, and support monthly close cycles with technical reporting knowledge. Hybrid, Chicago-area role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Strong working knowledge of reporting and products.
• Client facing experience with the ability to present detailed concepts.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Proven analytical, consultative, and problem-solving skills.
• Organized and able to manage time and meet deadlines.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Acts as first point of reference for client inquiries.
• Provides accounting consulting guidance both internally and externally.
• Serves as a liaison to related areas and helps facilitate monthly close cycle.
• Carries out relatively complex, extensive, high-profile activities e.g. direct interaction with top revenue clients and more senior management.
