Job summary

Citizens is seeking a Senior Private Banking (PB) Client Relations Manager in San Francisco to support Relationship Managers and private bank clients through the loan origination and servicing processes.

You will assist with fielding prospects, rate discussions, and coordinating client meetings, while mentoring junior staff and ensuring credit analysis and policy compliance across multiple loan products. This is a high-responsibility role in a client-focused Private Bank team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years supporting Relationship Managers and private bank clients.
• Proven track record in lending origination through closing, with credit analysis expertise.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with client and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Assist fielding prospects and provide rates when RM is unavailable.
• Understand RM's clientele and product specialty.
• Review existing client base for deposit opportunities and prospects.
• Respond to client inquiries and servicing requests promptly.
• Coordinate client meetings, events, and gifts with RM.
• Manage active loan pipeline from preapproval to post-close.
• Pre-qualifications and document analysis for prospective clients.
• Answer questions about Initial Loan Estimate.
• Handle initial calls from new and returning clients.
• Be knowledgeable in pricing, deal structuring, and credit policy across loan products.
• Lead credit pre-screening discussions with Private Bank Credit Officers.
• Mentor and coach junior colleagues on skills and best practices.
