Job summary

EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants in San Francisco seeks a Senior Client Manager for Commercial Lines (P&C). You will service clients, manage applications, endorsements, certificates, and provide coverage education while maintaining accuracy and timely invoicing.

You will partner with the sales team to market placements, negotiate with underwriters, prepare proposals, and support growth across lines for Contractors, Manufacturers, and Distributors. A fast-paced, client-focused role awaits.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years experience in mid-size brokerage or carrier.
• High school diploma or GED; college degree preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and professional communication.

Responsibilities

• Service: establish trust with clients, respond promptly, and resolve questions.
• Process applications, endorsements, invoices, binders, schedules, certificates, audits, and related items.
• Educate clients about policy coverage, changes, exclusions, and needs; assist in changes.
• Ensure timely invoicing and monitor expirations.
• Meet quality and timeliness standards in the Agency Management System; document activity.
• Other duties may be assigned.
• Marketing: assist sales with strategy, pricing, and marketing determinations.
• Negotiate premiums and commissions with underwriters and wholesalers.
• Prepare proposals and provide technical support in the sales process.
• Refer clients to Employee Benefits and Private Client departments when appropriate.
• Develop workflow and maintain records; communicate with carriers and vendors.
• Stay informed on industry developments to improve performance.
