Job summary

Marsh McLennan Agency is seeking a Senior Client Manager in Business Insurance to manage client relationships, analyze coverage needs, and drive growth across client teams and producers. The role includes mentoring junior staff and coordinating with carriers to craft strong proposals.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in Business Insurance, a P&C license or ability to obtain it within 90 days, and relevant designations or knowledge of coverages. Hybrid work options are available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in Business Insurance.
• Property & Casualty license (or ability to obtain in 90 days).
• Insurance designations (e.g. INS, AAI, CISR) or demonstrated knowledge of Business Insurance coverages.

Responsibilities

• Manage relationships with clients, prospects, client teams and producers to provide best in class service and drive growth.
• Provide coverage analysis and risk management recommendations.
• Negotiate coverage and pricing with carriers.
• Prepare proposals and resolve billing issues.
• Mentor Client Service Associates in policy-checking skills and coverage knowledge.

A day in the life.

As our Senior Client Manager on the Business Insurance team, you will manage relationships with clients, prospects, client teams and producers to provide best in class service and drive growth. Providing coverage analysis, risk management recommendations, negotiating coverage and pricing with carriers, preparing proposals, and resolving billing issues will be part of your day-to-day. You will also mentor our Client Service Associates by developing their policy-checking skills and coverage knowledge.
