Job summary

Marsh McLennan Agency is seeking a Client Executive for the Business Insurance team in a hybrid Charlotte-based role. You will build relationships with clients and carriers, serving as trusted advisor to assess risks and deliver innovative risk solutions for large accounts.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in an insurance brokerage, holds a P&C license (or can obtain within 90 days), and has CPCU/CIC/ARM/AU or equivalent knowledge, plus advanced Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field
• Minimum ten (10) years' experience in an insurance agency or brokerage environment
• P & C Insurance License or ability to obtain within 90 days
• Completed CPCU, CIC, ARM, and/or AU designation or demonstrated equivalent knowledge
• Experienced in Agency Management Systems
• Advanced Excel Competency

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with clients, prospective clients, and carriers.
• Serve as an advisor to assess risks and provide innovative solutions for complex risk issues.
• Guide marketing, servicing, and retention of larger accounts and allocate resources as needed (Claims, Risk Control, Executive & Professional Liability).

A day in the life.

As our Client Executive on the Business Insurance team, you'll develop relationships with clients, prospective clients, and carriers. You will serve as an advisor and consultant to clients in order to assess risks and provide innovative solutions to complex risk-related business issues, demonstrating expertise in Loss Sensitive and Captive programs. You will guide the marketing, servicing, and retention of larger accounts, and determine resources needed to support clients and prospects (Claims, Risk Control, Executive & Professional Liability, etc.).
