Synovus Financial Corp. is seeking a seasoned Financial Specialist to deliver distinctive client service, manage everyday banking transactions, and expand client relationships.

You will be the single touch point for clients, promoting a high‑engagement experience in line with Pinnacle standards. The role requires deep knowledge of banking products, regulatory compliance, and strong interpersonal skills to resolve issues, open accounts, and refer clients to specialized areas as needed.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and related software.
• Knowledge of federal banking regulations and compliance.
• Broad knowledge of bank products and services.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Analytical and mathematical reasoning with strong problem‑solving ability.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with high accuracy.
• Willingness to stand and sit for prolonged periods; physical requirements.
• NMLS SAFE ACT registration may be required within timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Provide distinctive service to clients and prospects in person and by phone, resolve inquiries, and greet clients as they enter the office.
• Ensure compliance with bank policies and regulations and support security and risk controls.
• Lead and coach team members, manage performance processes, and collaborate with HR on staffing needs.
• Identify client financial needs and refer to Trust, Investments, Insurance, and Treasury Management as appropriate.
• Open new accounts, process paperwork, verify credentials, and obtain documentation.
• Perform office capture duties and handle various transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
• Support office leader and monitor reports to ensure operational excellence.
