Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc., based in Bloomington, MN, seeks a Senior Client Engagement Manager to identify and build new business, reframing clients' thinking and co-creating value by delivering freedom to innovate.

You will drive design wins to revenue with focus clients, apply consultative selling, manage key stakeholders, coordinate with regional engineers, and contribute to global sales strategies across locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business (or equivalent sales experience) with a strong client engagement track record.
• 7+ years of semiconductor sales experience.
• Proficient in problem-solving, program management, and major account management with MS Office skills.
• Prior Salesforce experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize Microchip’s Client Engagement Process to drive design wins to revenue at select focus clients.
• Use insight and consultative selling techniques to teach customers about their industry and offer unique perspectives on their business, which link back to Microchip‘s solutions.
• Drive the company business relationship with the assigned clients.
• Identify the key client stakeholders and coach those stakeholders to build consensus for Microchip’s solutions within their organization.
• Contribute and participate within a global team environment, to successfully develop and implement sales strategies across clients’ divisions and geographical locations.
• Communicate effectively with Microchip product divisions providing quantifiable feedback and ROI for their investments in clients.
• Work closely with local and regional applications engineers to provide unique, compelling and innovative solutions to assigned clients
