Job summary

Phaxis is seeking an experienced accounting professional to oversee a portfolio of business management clients, providing back-office support and strategic financial insights.

You will manage AP/AR/payroll for multiple clients, lead the monthly close with reconciliations and financial statements, and mentor staff to keep operations moving. This senior role requires 10+ years in client accounting or business management and strong knowledge of QuickBooks and ADP.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in client accounting or business management.
• Proficiency with AP, AR, payroll, reconciliations and month-end close.
• Experience preparing financial statements on accrual and cash basis.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a portfolio of business management clients and act as back-office support.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll across multiple clients.
• Manage the monthly close, including reconciliations and financial statements.
• Plan and manage daily and monthly workflows across multiple accounts.
• Supervise and support staff and keep operations moving.
• Report to firm leadership on client status and workload.
