ServiceMaster of Salt Lake City seeks a seasoned Cleaning Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day operations across commercial sites. You will ensure high-quality service, coordinate crews, and uphold client specifications.

Responsibilities include developing work instructions, managing safety standards, mentoring staff, tracking performance, and controlling costs while delivering reliable facility cleaning services.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in commercial cleaning, janitorial, or facility operations (management experience preferred).
• Strong leadership, scheduling, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of cleaning standards, safety practices, and equipment.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites as needed.
• Proficiency with basic computer systems and scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage and schedule cleaning crews across commercial, industrial, and medical sites
• Develop written Work Instructions and Standards for staff to follow
• Maintain strict quality standards, safety protocols, and client specifications
• Hire, train, coach, and evaluate cleaning staff and supervisors
• Coordinate with evening supervisor
• Monitor supplies, equipment, and inventory; control costs
• Handle client communication, service issues, and on-site quality checks
• Track performance metrics, productivity, and compliance
• Support continuous improvement of cleaning processes and procedures
