Job summary

IICRC seeks an experienced Cleaning Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day cleaning operations for commercial, industrial, and medical sites. You will ensure high-quality service delivery, efficient team performance, and strong customer service.

This role requires 5+ years in commercial cleaning, leadership, scheduling, and safety knowledge, with a valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to sites. We offer health insurance, PTO, 401(k) matching, a performance bonus, and a company car.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in commercial cleaning, janitorial, or facility operations.
• Strong leadership, scheduling, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of cleaning standards, safety practices, and equipment.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage and schedule cleaning crews across commercial, industrial, and medical sites
• Develop written Work Instructions and Standards for staff to follow
• Maintain strict quality standards, safety protocols, and client specifications
• Hire, train, coach, and evaluate cleaning staff and supervisors
• Coordinate with evening supervisor
• Monitor supplies, equipment, and inventory; control costs
• Handle client communication, service issues, and on-site quality checks
• Track performance metrics, productivity, and compliance
• Support continuous improvement of cleaning processes and procedures
