Job summary

Argo Group is seeking a Senior Claims Account Manager to lead runoff workers’ compensation claims from in-office locations, including Omaha. The role requires deep technical expertise, strong leadership, and the ability to drive disciplined reserving and effective cost containment.

You will oversee third-party claim administration, ensuring compliance, quality data, and timely closure while coordinating with actuarial, legal, and senior leadership. This is a full-time, in-office position.

Qualifications

• Extensive workers’ compensation expertise including compensability and medical management.
• Ability to lead through technical credibility and accountability.
• Experience overseeing TPAs and complex indemnity claims.

Responsibilities

• Drive runoff outcomes through disciplined claim strategy and reserving, with targeted resolution planning.
• Provide technical direction on complex workers’ compensation, including settlement strategy and litigation posture.
• Monitor performance against agreements, guidelines, and financial objectives.
• Lead audits, claim reviews, and stewardship discussions with actions documented.
• Communicate regularly with actuarial, finance, legal, compliance, and senior leadership regarding program performance.
